Join us.
Team Evil wants YOU as a person and a social media team member. Your primary mission? Find cool metalheads who are active on social media, befriend them, and tell them to join us too. Your secondary mission? To help us operate multiple social media assets, both assets we own and assets we don't own but administer on behalf of others. The social media accounts we own we refer to as "The EvilPact".
What are the qualifications?
- To be reasonably active online on social media.
- Have an interest in social media management and possess a willingness to learn more about it.
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have an interest in one or more topics related to the groups and pages we run (horror, tattoos, metal, punk, sick humor)
- Have an interest in joining Team Evil
- Be participatory and interested in doing team-oriented events.
- Be a good person with a good attitude
- Be willing to use your primary real-name profile and behave. That means abiding by the community standards and staying out of trouble.
What is Team Evil?
We're a metalhead and punk rocker social club, and more. When you join the Social Media Team, you become a Prospect for Team Evil.
Read more about us.
Is this a full time thing?
No, it's part time. We believe in giving everyone "one fucking job", and follow a philosophy of strength in numbers. We work as a team.
What are the various positions on this team?
We have slots which you can view on our Master Roster and various team rosters, and all of the Positions have written descriptions.
Do I need experience in this sort of thing to be considered?
No, we teach you. If you have an interest in learning about any of the social media platforms and have ideas of your own, good. If you do have experience, even better. Depending on your experience and our team's available slots, we'll place you accordingly.
Sign me up. How do I join?
To inquire about joining our Social Media Team, simply message the Team Evil Facebook Page. Multiple Admins & Moderators have access to answer your inquiry, so be sure to tell them you are interested in joining the Social Media Team. After that interview, we'll get you started.
What happens next?
Read the Moderator Guidelines.
You can find the guidelines HERE.
All members of the social media team practice these guidelines, and most members of the social media team start as a moderator.
We divide the labor and utilize a team approach, and our admins and senior moderators do most of the "heavy lifting".
Keep your primary profile "clean" and behave
Going forward, your primary profile must abide by the rules of the social media platform and stay out of trouble. We do not assign roles to alternate or secondary profiles, it must be your primary real-name profile. If this is an issue, unfortunately it will not work for us. Facebook in particular has harsh rules and consequences for using alternate profiles.
Training
We put you in a new moderator chat with an experienced admin who will teach you the ropes and answer any questions you have while you go through this training.
What happens after training?
Once you graduate from this training, you'll be placed in the moderator chat which is "business only", kept short and to the point. Questions are fine, and we want them to be asked so everyone can hear the answer and benefit.
We also will place you in a social chat with all the other moderators, which is strictly non-business, so you can get to know the team. This is equally important to us.
